OVERVIEW OF THE FIT SPORT DESIGN AWARDS BENEFITS
Badge of achievement
Each winning design and product awarded with an honorable mention will receive its own award badge. This is a key marketing tool. The FIT Sport Design Awards badge is the perfect marketing tool, placed everywhere you have a presence: in print, on your website, business card, email signature, social media, and other points of sale, stands, or displays.
Certificate of achievement
A personalized certificate of achievement will be provided to each winner and honorable mention recipient; the certificate is a sign of excellence, proof of your/your team’s outstanding work and contribution to the industry.
FIT Awards Trophy
Each year, the program awards four grand prizes to professionals and students. Each of these winners will receive a custom-made trophy including the inscription of the product name, company name, and lead designer(s) name(s).
Hangtags
Winners and honorable mentions will receive print files for garment/merchandise stickers and hangtags that can be applied to the winning products.
Use the hangtags for your production and integrate them as labels on the packaging design, ensuring the labeled products will stand out!
Masterclass for the “Emerging Designers of the Year”.
Renowned sneaker industry figure Sean Williams, co-founder of the SOLEcial Studies in New York Cities, will provide an exclusive Masterclass centered around the theme of “Culture – Impact and Purpose”. Offering two comprehensive courses aimed at expanding the perspective of FIT Awards emerging winners in design. The focus extends beyond individual design considerations to encompass the broader impact that design can have on the world, encompassing aspects such as usage, evolution, and sustainability. After the Masterclass, there will be a “Creative Council” session to review the portfolios of young talents, discuss their design goals, and guide them in their next career steps.
HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR AWARD-WINNING COMPANY?
We know that social proof is one of the most influential factors in consumers’ decision-making. Consumer and third-party professional reviews are nearly 12 times more trusted than internal descriptions; the FIT Sport Design Awards is the ultimate review and testimonial.
Print and save your certificate, place it in your office, create a “success wall”, share it with your community and clients on social media, website, and other direct marketing activities. Show it off — you deserve it!
Place the award winner’s badge everywhere: in print, on your website, business card, email signature, social media, and other points of sale, stands, or displays. This is a fantastic marketing opportunity.
Issue a press release and send it to your local media and/or communication agency. The FIT Awards official winner press release can be found on the “Press” page.
Add your winner badge to your email signature: your email signature is seen daily by scores of people who may not know about your award. Just add a simple statement that says “winner of the (year) (award name)” then every outgoing email becomes a testament to your achievement.
Involve your team: by sharing your achievement, your sales and marketing team not only boost their own morale but also pass on the joy of your win with all their contacts and clients. Happiness is infectious, and sharing the results of your hard work is a perfect example: everybody is glad to hear the news.
Consider an advertisement. It is a common business technique to take out an advert to call attention to an awards win. Some companies also use this opportunity to congratulate fellow winners — sharing their joy.
Add “award-winning” to all your company/brands descriptions. After winning an award, you have the right to call yourselves an “award-winning” company and an “award-winning” designer, and this is a never-ending benefit, which cannot be taken from you; an industry-recognized award serves as a powerful, independent endorsement of your company’s quality. Winning the FIT Design Awards is a serious competitive advantage!
