FIT Sport Design Awards collaborates with international universities to support emerging talents

The FIT Sport Design Awards have announced their partnership with some of the best and most respected universities from around the globe, including Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design (USA), Parsons School of Design – The New School (USA), L’École de design Nantes Atlantique (France), Universidad Anáhuac (Mexico), MIT Institute of Design (India), ESNE – University School of Design, Innovation and Technology (Spain), College for Creative Studies (USA), Politecnico di Milano – Scuola del Design (Italy), Condé School Nice (France), Arsutoria School (Italy), artcenter college of design (USA) and more. The program aims to support emerging talent by providing them with a platform to present their designs to an international audience and a grand jury composed of experienced and prominent sport gears designers, professionals, press representatives, textile and apparel experts, consultants and industry leaders in the field of sports design. The FIT Design Awards look for breakthrough sports innovations, sustainable products, performance-enhancing solutions that provide comfort to athletes or everyday players, and practices that have a positive impact on the environment. They recognize the creativity and exceptional vision of designers while honoring socially responsible practices that will inspire generations to come; and believe that the students will leave an exceptional mark on the Awards with their innovative and sustainable projects. “The program will put the spotlight on all designers creating unique sporting goods, looking at innovation, performance, recycling & upcycling in an industry where brands are cautious of their environmental impact,” said Astrid Hébert – Founder of FIT Sport Design Awards; adding that “We are passionate about providing a platform where emerging designers will be able to present their graduation product design to industry leaders.
