Description This collection portrays 5 pairs of shoes that navigate my multicultural journey through the upper details. More importantly, I aimed to build a new process that can be more efficient yet localised as much as possible.
I tried to cover all components of Footwear from last, upper to sole, combining handcrafts and advanced technologies. All shoes are hand-assembled onto the 3D printed Hallux-valgus inspired lasts, with Bananatex fabric/recycled leather uppers, and TPU-printed outsoles, designed in Gravity Sketch, which had been developed from my name initials in Korean alphabets.
