Description Kanga is a gravel bike designed for amateur competitive riders navigating long distances and unpredictable terrain. Through firsthand experience at the Chainbuster Gravel Race and rider interviews, we identified three persistent challenges: physical discomfort, navigational uncertainty, and limited adaptability within race conditions.
Kanga addresses these through an integrated system of support. A reimagined handlebar enables multiple grip positions and a stable aero tuck, while a composite leaf-spring system and controlled frame flex smooth vibration without added complexity. In-frame storage and an elevated navigation zone allow riders to access essentials and maintain awareness without breaking momentum.
Innovation A glass fiber composite leaf-spring suspension, combined with controlled frame flex, delivers passive shock absorption without the weight or complexity of traditional mechanisms.
The handlebar introduces a continuous ergonomic interface, enabling seamless transitions between multiple riding positions, including a stable aero tuck. Dual-access braking maintains control across positions, improving safety under fatigue.
Product Detail Kanga is constructed through a hybrid material system that balances compliance, strength, and weight. The hydraulically formed titanium frame provides natural flex and vibration damping, while integrated glass fiber composite leaf springs deliver lightweight, passive shock absorption.
A carbon fiber looped handlebar, fabricated through wet layup, enables complex ergonomic geometry with multiple grip positions. Standard performance components ensure reliability, and an internal frame cavity provides seamless storage without disrupting the ride.
Specification Key dimensions include a 1193 mm wheelbase, 610 mm top tube, and 450 mm seat tube, supporting a balanced riding posture. A 67° head tube angle and 76° seat tube angle enhance handling and power transfer.
The frame integrates 440 mm chain stays and 600 mm seat stays for added compliance, paired with a 157 mm head tube and 425 mm handlebar width for rider comfort. Maximum seat post insertion is 127 mm.
