With the popularity of cycling, a solution to the common disc brake issues such as brake fade, brake rotor deformation, asymmetric brake pad wear is essential. Thus, One-Piece 3D Floating rotor is born.

Conventional two-piece floating rotors are typically used on mountain bikes, e-bikes, and other bikes that require heavy duty braking systems. However, problems with disc brake systems caused by complex mechanical designs are not exclusive to heavy duty brake bikes.

The combination of one-piece and two-piece rotor benefits allows users to enjoy their ride with this lightweight, durable, and affordable product. The float function also extends the life of the brake system and reduces the replacement rate of related components.

The 3D Floating Rotor not only provides professionals another upgrading option, but also allows beginners to improve their equipment more easily. One-piece floating technology could even be used in bike-sharing systems in the future.

Innovation
In general, floating rotors outperform one-piece rotors. However, One-Piece 3D Floating Rotor, improves the conventional one-piece braking system by achieving the same effect as the floating rotor without sacrificing any structural strength or gaining additional weight.

Open cuts on every other rib give this rotor an elastic nature, achieving the floating effect that is normally only possible with two-piece rotors. This One-piece 3D Floating Rotor has the major advantage of having a simpler manufacturing process than the traditional two-piece rotors; as a result, we can offer our customers an affordable option with the same effect as the traditional floating rotor.

When in contact with the braking pad, the one-piece 3D Floating Rotor corrects abnormal caliper clamping by bending the outer rim accordingly; this increases the rotor's durability and ensures an optimal braking force. Rider will no longer experience brake fade, brake rotor deformation, or asymmetric brake pad wear.

One-piece 3D Floating Rotor combines the benefits of one-piece and two-piece rotors.

Detail
The ribs are distributed evenly and similar to conventional one-piece rotors, but open cuts are located on every other rib, which makes this rotor different and gives it an elastic nature.

The cuts bring the rotor a deformation margin space in the third dimension. When the set deformation volume is reached, the ribs will become the support again to maintain the proper strength of the disc, so the cuts do not decrease the rotor strength.

On the contrary, the new structure increases the disc strength by 12%, which means the strength of 1.8mm disc is on par with 2.0mm. This improvement can save at least 12% of material loss.

The entire rotor is made of stainless steel, and through the properties of the material, the floating function is achieved without additional parts, which makes it the lightest and unpresented one-piece floating rotor on the market.

Specification
One-Piece 3D Floating Rotor is available in 5 dimensions, 140, 160, 180, 203, and 220, which are suitable for all kinds of bikes.

The weights are 121g (140mm), 153g (160mm), 181g (180mm), 216g (203mm), 247g (220mm), which are no heavier than conventional single-piece rotors.

Referring to the UCI regulations, the outermost periphery of the disc is designed to be full round edges to prevent safety issues.

The rotor is applicable to 6-bolt hubs and able to fit center lock hubs with an adapter.

Brushed (grinded) stainless steel (silver) finish with ED black side surfaces. Logos and specifications are laser marked on the rotor ribs.
