Description The evergy Hybrid Training Sled is a competition-ready tool built for modern hybrid training, where strength, speed, and transitions matter. Its low, stable chassis delivers controlled pushes under heavy load, while the multi-height push posts provide varied hand positions and a more ergonomic setup for different athletes and workout formats.
Designed for intensive use, the sled features a black powder-coated steel structure with stainless steel logo plates and hard-chrome knurled grip sections for secure handling. A key durability choice is its direct steel-to-surface contact, removing the typical nylon/UHMW wear strips that often become a failure point on turf-based sleds.
Visually, the sled is intentionally clean and premium: a single bent steel sheet covers the inner structure, creating a unified silhouette. The X/V-inspired geometry is also functional, making plate loading faster by naturally supporting part of the plate during changes, while protecting the front D-ring attachment from impacts.
Innovation The evergy Hybrid Training Sled was developed to solve three common limitations in heavy-use sleds: fragile sliding strips, visual clutter, and poor protection of attachment points. Most sleds rely on nylon/UHMW contact parts when used on turf, which often become a failure point (wear, cracking, loosening, replacement cycles). Our design intentionally removes that problematic component and allows the sled to run with direct powder-coated steel-to-surface contact, increasing robustness and reducing maintenance complexity in gyms and competition settings.
A second innovation is the clean, premium architecture. Instead of exposing the internal structure, the chassis is wrapped by a single bent steel sheet that covers and unifies the body, delivering a visually refined product without compromising rigidity.
Finally, the sled’s X/V-inspired geometry is functional by design: it improves plate handling by creating a hollow “V” support where part of the plate naturally rests during loading and unloading, making changes faster and more user-friendly. The same geometry also shields the front D-ring attachment, protecting it from impacts and reducing collision risk during training and compe
Product Detail The evergy Hybrid Training Sled features a rigid, black powder-coated steel chassis engineered for heavy use in training and competition. The logo plates are stainless steel, adding durability and a premium visual identity on the front. Steel push posts/handles include hard-chrome knurled grip sections for secure hand placement and control under high force.
There are no textiles in the product. A key design choice is the direct steel-to-surface contact: the sled runs on powder-coated steel (instead of typical nylon/UHMW wear strips), removing a common failure point found in many sled designs and improving robustness and consistency.
For pulling, the rope attaches via steel connection points, using a carabiner to connect to a chrome rope end. Protective nylon cups are used on the ends of the push posts and on the central loading post to protect contact areas and improve longevity.
Specification The evergy Hybrid Training Sled is available in one single version (unisex). There are no separate men’s or women’s models—it is used for both categories by adjusting the load according to the competition standard. Unloaded weight: 53.50 kg.
Dimensions (L × W × H): 996.34 × 590 × 981.82 mm.
Finish: black powder-coated steel with stainless steel logo plates and evergy branding on the front.
