Description The project was developed in cooperation with the Winderen company, which has noticed the problem of injuries when horse riding, especially when jumping over fences, where the load on the joints is enormous. That’s why they asked us to design stirrups with two absorbers relieving the load on joints. After many experiments, we prepared the design brief together. Our goal was to convert the idea into an aesthetically pleasing design and safe and strong structure. Its dynamic form reflects the character of the equestrian sport. During design work, we had in mind the technological conditions of the manufacturer. In effect, the product includes a lower amount of parts.
Innovation The first stirrup that protects the joints of knees and ankles from overloads while horseriding. Having two energy absorbers - the first one inside the foot pad, and the second one at the upper pendant. Foot pad angle is adjustable according to preferences of the user.
Product Detail Main body is made as the cast of lightweight alloy, painted in various colors. All parts of the foot support and top absorber cover are made of high durable plastic. All energy absorbers are made of foam polymer. Other parts are made of stainless steel.
