Description My project "SK Studios" aims to promote sustainable urban micro-mobility through fashion and textiles, by means of a safe, wearable and attractive garment for people who skate around the city. It consists of a bomber jacket with long sleeves and detachable sleeves, hat and elastic waistband. Long bloomers, with hip patch pockets, cargo and back pockets, with detachable legs to make bermuda shorts.
Innovation Focused on usability by incorporating 7 zippered and Velcro pockets on the jacket and pants to secure belongings during movement. Comfort was maximized through an oversized style that allows freedom of movement. Aesthetically, we opted for designs with curved lines and cuts that reflect the fluidity of skaters. In terms of materials, denim was selected for its resistance and waterproof fabric for protection against the weather, adding reflective tape for night visibility, as well as 32 Neopixels were incorporated in the shoulders, as it is a strategic point combining functionality with protection and style.
