Description Our project is designed for children aged 3 to 5, specifically adapted for mountain sports. It is a balance bike used on flat terrain. By removing the axles and repositioning the wheels horizontally, the object transforms into a sled. Thanks to the profile of the wheels, inspired by skis, they can be converted into skis, thus turning the balance bike into a sled. This solution offers space savings in the car, avoiding the need to travel with two separate products, while providing children with a fun and varied play experience.

Product Detail This tricycle-sled hybrid is designed for outdoor use, including snow. The wheels are made from HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), a shock- and cold-resistant plastic. The tires are crafted from EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer), a solid rubber with excellent weather and impact resistance.
The wheel axles are made of CrMo 4130 (Chromoly Steel), a strong yet lightweight alloy ideal for fatigue and shock resistance. The body and fork are made from beech plywood, known for its rigidity. The handlebar is solid beech wood, providing natural shock absorption.
The fasteners are A2 stainless steel, corrosion-resistant. The footrests are made from hard EPDM rubber, resistant to moisture and impacts. The hinge between the body and fork is made of reinforced polyamide (PA6), a durable plastic with a metal core for added strength.
The axle knobs are metal with a TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) coating, offering a secure grip in cold conditions.
