Description FIT SEAT is a furniture/sports product that combines the functions of rest, sitting, storage and doing sports in a single product for users who have adopted a minimalist lifestyle.
The Bosu ball placed on the back surface of the seating area in the product allows the user to do various sports movements on it when it is turned upside down and placed on the floor. When this part is lifted, it creates a storage area, and thus users can store small-scale sports equipment in front of them. The spring system inside the product allows the resistance band attached to the product to be pulled and released, thus allowing various sports movements to be done. Various apparatuses are included with the product for adding this resistance band to the ends. The user can diversify their sports by choosing the appropriate tip for the movement they want to do, and they can work different parts of their bodies with a single product. In order for the product to remain stable on the ground during sports movements, an industrial vacuum that can be opened and closed at any time is placed on the part of the product that is in contact with the ground.
Innovation As a result of research conducted on a persona basis, it has been noticed that users who have adopted a minimalist lifestyle do not prefer these equipments because the current sports products on the market take up too much space in their homes. At the same time, the problems experienced by users in storing small-scale sports equipment (bosu ball, rope, resistance bands, etc.) they buy for their homes and the decrease in the frequency of use of equipment that is not visible after a while have been observed.
Based on solving all problems, 'FIT SEAT', a furniture/sports equipment that provides resting, sitting, storage and sports activities, has been designed for users who adopt a minimalist lifestyle.
When the current sports products are examined, there is no single product that is suitable for a minimalist lifestyle, has a suitable size for a minimal home, functions as a secondary function of home furniture and does not cause problems when it is constantly in sight, and combines the functions of storage, rest, sitting and doing sports. Therefore, when compared to the products on the market, FIT SEAT stands out as an innovative product.
Product Detail The body of the product is formed by placing fabric-covered MDF on the steel frame. The spring system is mounted on the lower part of the body, and the vacuum system is mounted under it. The seating surface with a bosu ball integrated on the back surface is placed independently on the upper part of the product.
