Description
The Mammut Tenacier Initiator is an outdoor mountaineering pants for in-between Fall and Winter. It uses vibration therapy distribution technology powered by movement. What distinguishes the Tenacier Initiator is its repurposing of technologies from other fields into the realm of soft goods. While maintaining Mammut's signature visual design language, the pants incorporate designated zones optimized for various aspects of movement. Crafted for exceptional performance, endurance, and aesthetics, the Tenacier Initiator sets a new standard in outdoor gear.

Innovation
The Tenacier product line incorporates piezoelectric technology into both apparel and shoes to improve endurance during hiking. When activated by an electric current, the technology provides vibration therapy, helping to reduce lactic acid buildup and shield users from adverse weather conditions, enabling longer and more comfortable hikes.

Bio
My name is Andrew Xia and I am currently an industrial designer studying at Art Center College of Design.

From a young age, I was always fascinated by art, from drawing and painting to sculpting and 3D design. However my mentor, Rich Henderson, introduced me to creating purposeful and functional art: design.

I've learned to plan every step meticulously, always crafting a reason on why I am pushing for each feature. My projects allow me to grow in my innovative journey by teaching me something new at every step.
