Description These are chunky men's fashion sneakers inspired by CCM Hockey and their product lineup. The concept for these shoes was inspired by the NBA "tunnel walks" where players are seen wearing higher fashion, interesting outfits on their way to the locker rooms before a game. The popularity of these walks has brought a lot of traction to the NBA and to the companies repped by the players. There are 6 sole concepts and 51 concept shoes with 15 color depictions.
Innovation These shoes I feel are innovative because they include a lot of design aspects of hockey skates in interesting ways. Because of this, these shoes can be associated with the sport without knowing the direct references. The combine athletics and fashion in a new and interesting way.
Product Detail These designs are inspired by many CCM products, mainly skates. The sole of the shoes would be made of rubber or TPU, with the possibility of metal details. Uppers would be made from leather with flexible EVA or TPU pieces over the toe. Certain styles would also require a jersey fabric for a sock piece. Some include a plastic visor as well. All laced with classic hockey laces. These designs are a mixture of low-top and high-top sneakers, all with a slight bulkiness to the sole.
The colors are inspired by jerseys, skates, and socks that CCM sells.
