Description My project is a volleyball shoe designed for a women's foot because majority of shoes that are worn for women's volleyball are men's sport shoes. However men's foot shape and a women's foot is different, a women's forefoot is wider and their heel is more narrow compared to a men's foot. Also wanting to target the different roles in volleyball because each role, from the movement and functional needs of the foot is different.
Innovation I designed the shoe to help elevate the players by thinking about the form of sole unit and the materials that will be used in it such as carbon fiber to help the hitters and blockers in volley ball conserve their energy and reduce fatigue throughout the matches. Also thinking about the upper design and materials such as a high-top knit upper to help with ankle and lateral support, while still providing flexibility.
