Originally from Lancashire (UK), Sam from a young age was a passionate sports fanatic and always wanted to have a career that combined his two interests, sport and design.
After graduating from the University of Huddersfield in Product Design, Sam began his journey in the sportswear design industry in 2011 and has since gone on to work for global sportswear brands such as Mizuno EMEA, Musto and Umbro. In his 10 years within the industry, he has designed for an array of professional football clubs, international rugby teams as well as Olympic athletes.
In 2021, Sam kicked off his freelance design career with North Athletic Studios, and has since helped numerous brands to build and create their own sportswear apparel ranges through a justified and sustainable design philosophy.
